Poor Southwest Airlines

My boss constantly uses Southwest as a metaphor to explain ways we can be more friendly and have a better customer relation feeling to our school. Seriously, the man should be the poster child for the company, he loves Southwest. Now, my sweet Danny he would be quick to liken Southwest to a cattle herding business because of the no assigned seating rule that leads to that massive blob of people trying to funnel into some sorta line - very annoying I will admit. Now, me I'd probably use Southwest as a metaphor for the Super Wal*mart in Orem, Utah (bless that place) it's kinda chaotic but it gets the job done and it's cheap! I just love the fact that I can always get such cheap flights to Salt Lake from Baltimore - a lot of times I am paying $99 each way! Now, this article I found on CNN.com it would more likely compare the airline to anything coming outta China these days - needs to be recalled/just plain dangerous....

Mexico!

No, we are not going on a vacation - we are moving there! Danny started a job with the foreign service at the beginning of the year and we just found out we are going to Mexico! We're scheduled to go this summer so I better start brushing up on my Espanol. We're excited for this new adventure and look forward to many years of traveling around the world! Our new home will be Mexico City which is nicely place between the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean - so think vacations people!!! =)

Celebrate Good Times!

2008 has already been a busy year for us. We recently celebrated Will's 3? Birthday and Jen's (soon to be born) baby girl.

We played a fun game with melted chocolate bars in diapers - Yes, you can imagine what that might resemble. We had to try to guess what candy bar was in each diaper. I should add that I won - I don't know much about changing diapers but I do know my chocolate!!!

Christmas and New Years

Our friends Natalie and Sam had a few people over for New Years Eve. They had the tastiest pizza bar ever! We rang the new year in with lots of food, games, and of course sparkling cider.
