Mmm, All the Little Babies...

Listening to my sister's new baby girl wimper in the background as we chatted this morning made me all tender about my little James. Love that (not so little) baby. And thinking about all the new babies around... Brandy's Mason, Laura's Sophia (both of you need blogs ladies) and all the prego ladies I know, Amanda, Carole Ann, Clarissa, Michelle, Rosy, Rylie, Rory,
and Allie (wishing?) makes me just want to eat a small baby. So, in honor of my baby hunger I added my James-i-poo's lullabyes for all to enjoy. Snuggle your babies...

Fashion's Birthday Fiesta! This girl knows how to throw a party. She planned this shin-dig in only 3 days! My mouth waters everytime I look at this pic...leave it to me to take a pic of the Tacos al Pastor. Mmmmmm.... The Brithday Girl! The Brithday girl and her family (minus one sleepy child) doing their dance.
And then we danced....and danced...and danced....
and danced... and danced...
...until we crashed.

The Urban Baby goes grocery shopping.
I just love when I have to cart him in like he is
a gorcery item.
A very cute grocery item I might add. =)
James and Mommy are taking a Music cass together every Monday. James gets a star for his excellent dance moves. Mommy did not get one?

Our Little Family

Hard to believe that this picture was taken about a year ago. I am finding myself getting emotional about it. "It" meaning how time just flies. Today I am just happy to have my little family. It's complete... for now. =)

Doesn't Danny just look so handsome and proud. Love it.

That time I ran over a dog...

Today I am reflecting and mourning a little white and gray dog. I am also dealing with guilt...
a lot of it ...
since I ran that little white and gray dog over with my car and killed it instantly.

I have to admit that as I turned my car around to go back and check on it
I was praying that it was:
A) Dead and gone - I hope it was not suffering and frankly, I did not want to have to deal with a critically wounded dog in Mexico... in Spanish!
B) A STRAY - I mean if you live in Mexico you know how many strays are running around all the time. I mean, it has to be a stray, right?
C) Not seen by it's owner (or anyone) - I do not want to be there to see their reaction and... how was I going to relate everything to a crying stranger... again, in Spanish!

A) Yep, dead as a door nail
B) Def NOT a stray (ugh)
C) No one in sight, relief.

I have no idea why I am sharing this. I guess it's kinda a confession. I want it out and in the open. I feel terrible. It was not too long ago that I had to put my childhood dog to sleep (here). Worst thing ever! I have vowed to never have a dog again just to avoid having to kill one again - Tragically I learned you don't even need to own one to kill one.

The only thing that gives me solace is (once again) that:
