Christmas is (almost) here!

Traditions are the best! This weekend Danny and I were able to participate in family traditions that we enjoyed growing up.
My Family Tradition - The Washington DC Temple Lights
We usually go on Christmas Eve but this year we went a day early. We are sure glad we did because it was not too cold out and the musical performance was excellent! We were also lucky to have not only my side of the family join us but also Danny's sister's family too.

Danny's Family Tradition - Gingerbread Cooking Making
We joined Danny's sisters family in Baltimore in this fun tradition. I think Danny and I will definitely carry on this tradition with our family!

And then there was one... Danny wanting to make the moment last... informing me that he waits ALL year for this... he is so sentimental (and cute)
It's all good though cause I was busy getting kisses from G anyway...

Paper Football

Seriously, what happened to the grade school days when paper football and recess ruled our lives!? My mom and brother recently got into a pretty intense game of paper football while dining out. The game was quite contagious and soon we found other tables starting up their own games. I think if we had been there any l longer the whole joint would have been flicking paper footballs (or coasters).

Let the games begin...

What is... please get better!

I heard that Alex Trebek had a heart attack. I hope he is fine and that Jeopardy will carry on because I am not sure how my parents will survive without it. Here is to you Alex.

You Go Girl!

The Military Miss America candidate (from Utah!) was a combat medic in Afghanistan - thought this was a neat article about her in Newsweek.
