Washington DC Blizzard 2010

Not gonna lie. I was so happy I was not there to have to help shovel that monster driveway. But, I do love looking at that aspahlt and thinking back to my many joy rides down it...

Where I am Shopping...

Besides dresses this online shop has cute skirts, blouses, jewelry, shawls! They have a wide selection of already modest items but the best part is that they will customize any item. So add sleeves, change the neckline, lower the hem... it ALL can be done for a small additional fee.
Thanks to my sister Carmen for introducing me to my new fav place to shop!
Happy Shopping!

Makes Me Smile

If Tyson is an Angel ... clearly, James is a devil! I have been sorting through files and pictures today and started to look at these.... again. I have looked at these photos a lot over the last 4 weeks. They just keep making me smile. Like SmiLE BIG! I love you Tyson boy and miss you too. Such the sweetest face. But I can't help but wonder if your brother is up there in Heaven stealing your snacks now.
What kinda fun are you two getting into up there anyway!?

A Silver Wonderland!

Taxco is an old silver mining town, not too far from El D.F., that is full of beautiful silver EVERYTHING! You can find jewelry galore but you can also find silver card holders, napkin rings, plates, cups, and even silver purses! I got to visit this charming little town again, with its red roofed, white-washed buildings and little cobblestone streets that wind up, down and all around the mountainside, and was again impressed.
.
Thanks Amanda for taking us gals with ya. It was delightful! I am still so impressed that you drove us there with no problemo's... you are brave. =)

And thanks Emily for the pictures!
