The SL Zoo had lots of new baby animals. My favorite was definitely the baby giraffe - Jamal!

James also got to see Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam and his girlfriend Addie were so good to James. They played and played with him, took him to the park, and I think they even changed a diaper!
We also got to see buddy Manoa - who is SO SO dang cute! Look at the face!
I also got to see my cousins. See, I actually do have family that look like me. I got no Brasilian genes... except the temper. =) These cousins are just lovely ladies - inside and out - I just wish we were able to visit A LOT more with each other. I think of these two cousins a lot now that I live in Mexico. They spent some years in Venezuela when their parents were mission presidents. I remember their funny stories from their time there and now I feel like I can relate to a lot of it.
James was so lucky because his cousins are so fun ...

... which I am not so sure we loved. =)
